Sony claims that PlayTV will evolve with time. The functionality of PlayTV will be updated via the PlayStation Network. Sony has gone so far as to state that, "PlayTV will never be out of date."

Racing games have been around for a very long time; but a lot has changed since the first extremely popular racing game, Pole Position, was release in 1982 by Namco. If you were to go by the video game standards in 1982, Pole Position was groundbreaking, offering color graphics and the best game play seen in arcades. Those touted graphics however, by today's standards, are extremely poor. But there are a couple of things that Pole Position introduced to the world of video games that are still included, namely the rear view racing style and qualifying pre-races.

While many of today's racing titles offer a rear view type of style, they are very much different from what was once know as the most successful racing video game (1983) in history. Having said that, we'll move on to the point as this is not a history lesson, but rather some of the basic tips and game play methods you can apply to become better at any racing game, regardless of platform.

Racing Games Have Changed, but the Overall Concept is the Same

As technology has advanced, it has introduced true to life graphics, exceptional game play physics, and a much, much more realistic batch of racing games. In today's games there are hundreds of variables to consider while trying to gain the advantage - but one thing has remained the same - make it to the finish line first, or beat the clock to win! This applies to almost any racer you get your hands on, with the notable exception of battle racers (racing games that have game play modes where weapons are used to defeat your opponent).

Making it to the finish line first is almost always the solution to winning in a race, whether your opponent is the computer, a real person, or the clock. But such is not the case all of the time, newer games have also implemented other factors, such as style, car performance, and overall racing tactics, such as sliding around corners or drifting. This is the most basic of racing guides we will have, so to keep it simple, we will focus mainly on general tips to help you make it to the checkered flag first, and only touch on some of the other factors.

Knowing How To Handle Your Car Is the Key to Victory

It may seem like a no-brainer, but becoming familiar with the controls within the racing game you are playing is probably the most important aspect of becoming the best you can be. The different consoles on the market today have similar, but different controllers, and to make matters worse, there are no set standards on what button or trigger should perform what action (gas, brake, boost, steer, etc.). Additionally, each game offers their own unique set of options, so knowing them and tweaking them to your advantage is a must to get the gold medal.

The easiest way to become acquainted with the control setup is to read the game manual, and then play the game. If the game offers options in regards to changing the layout of the controller, be sure to choose, or set it at something you are comfortable or familiar with. To a point, console games have begun emulating previous titles with controller setups that gamers appeal to. A prime example of this is Project Gotham Racing (PGR) on the Xbox, a game that was released as a launch title when the Xbox was introduced to the video game market. Developer Bizarre Creations decided to use the right trigger as gas, the left trigger as brake, and the 'A' button as an emergency brake (e-brake). Since then, most racing games on the Xbox console follow this format, but as with everything there are exceptions.

Control Is Important - So Use a Comfortable Controller

Every gamer is different; some have small hands while others have big hands, some prefer the directional pad while others prefer to use the analog stick, and some prefer to ditch standard controllers and use a racing wheel. The only person that knows what controller will be the best for you, is YOU. Each console comes with a standard controller, but there is a huge business in third party console accessories, including controllers. Chances are you can find one that fits your needs perfectly, it may just take some trial and error. Try different controllers while at a friend's house, or in a video game store. One thing I really recommend however is to not be too quick to say 'this will not work for me.' A lot of times it's simply a matter of 'getting used' to the controller. You may also be the type of gamer that either plays better, or enjoys a racing game more, when played with a racing wheel.

World of Warcraft Emotion Codes Cheat Sheet - PC World of Warcraft Codes

Emotion Codes
Emotes (Emotion codes) are commands which make your character in World of Warcraft perform movements such as waving, coughing, dancing or pointing. They're an excellent way to convey a feeling to those around you and much quicker with more impact than typing your message in the chat window. WoW supports well over 150 different built-in emotes that can help players immerse even better into the game world especially on the Role Playing (RP) servers.

Example:
To perform an Emote, type in the chat window: /agree
This will perform the Emote and anyone around you will see you. You can also direct your Emote to an individual by selecting the person and then typing /whistle and you will whistle to that particular person. It will also automatically generate "You whistle to ." rers of Sky will be released on the DS on 10/12/09 in North America.

About rers of Sky

Play as one of 19 different Pokemon including five additional starter Pokemon that have been added to the roster of rers of Sky. There are more than 490 Pokemon to interact with in this immersive role-playing adventure that is engaging for longtime fans and series newcomers. Players assume the role of a Pokemon and team up with a partner Pokemon to save the world from destruction. The game also includes new "Special Episodes" that reveal secrets about certain characters in the Mystery Dungeon world. rers of Sky also includes enhanced communication features where Nintendo DS and Nintendo DSi owners can trade in-game items and share a demo dungeon with friends through the local wireless communication. Players with wireless broadband Internet access can use Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection to find special missions and rescue fallen friends.

In 1.10, to view the framerate, cache, and memory information, input /framerate, this shows the same as typing /fps, but also shows cache figures and memory figures.

Just like the Secret Cow Level in the original Diablo II, the Secret Cow Level is here as well. You must have beaten Baal on the difficulty you want to make the portal for.

Go to Rogue Encampment Insert a Wirt's Leg and a Tome of Townsportal into the Cube and Transmute. Enter Portal. Fight Cows.

The cows CAN be difficult to kill with melee characters, so be careful. Paladins and Sorceresses are always helpful here. The cows do not give good experience, but the chances of finding good runes / gems / equipment is better than most places and the stashes and chests here are good drops as well. If you intend to make the portal again, do not kill the Cow King.

When the battle starts, use the Grappling Hook and grab on to the red tail that is hanging from the ceiling and swing across the Boss. It will cause a large boulder to drop on his head and stun him. Then, attack his eye with your sword to defeat him. Defeating the Earth Temple Boss

Use your Mirror Shield to make him become more visible and lay on his back. Then, pick him up and throw him against the wall. A group of little enemies will go everywhere. Kill as many as you can until they become the big Boss again. Repeat this until you have killed all the little ghosts. Defeating the Forest Haven Boss

You must first disconnect all of the roots from the ceiling using the boomerang. Work fast before the roots grow back. When it falls from the ceiling, quickly attack the weak center. After ten to twelve sword hits, the Boss will be defeated. Defeating Ganondorf

When Princess Zelda shoots Ganondorf with a Light Arrow, walk up and hit him with a few sword combos. Once Ganondorf receives enough damage, line yourself up with Princess Zelda, so that when she fires a Light Arrow towards you, Link can deflect it off the Mirror Shield and hit Ganondorf. Once Ganondorf is stunned, move in and hit him with your sword. Repeat this until he is defeated. Also, when you finally find Zelda towards the end of the game, you will have to fight Ganondorf.

Use your boomerang to cut the strings that hold up Ganondorf, then use a Light Arrow to hit the blue ball at the end of his tail. After three shots, he will turn into a spider. When he climbs the top of the room, adjust your camera to see his reflection in the water. Position yourself next to the blue ball, then wait for him to fall down. When he does, shoot his tail with your Light Arrow. He will then turn into a snake. You can hit his head with your sword. This will cause him to freeze for a moment. While he is frozen, you can shoot the blue ball with your Light Arrow.

He moves very fast; do not hesitate to shoot him with your arrows. Additionally, Zelda will shoot Ganondorf with your Light Arrows. Start by avoiding Ganondorf 's attacks until he gets hit by the Light Arrow. He will be stunned -- quickly hit him with your Master Sword. Repeat this until he comes up to Zelda and hits her. Start hitting Ganondorf with Parry Attacks until Zelda wakes up. She will try to hit Ganondorf with the Light Arrows, but he dodges them.

Avoid Ganondorf's attacks until Zelda says something. Now, she will use the Light Arrows to hit your Mirror Shield. When you see her aiming the Light Arrow at you, hold up your Mirror Shield. Once it hits your shield, it will hit Ganondorf. When he is stunned, approach him and wait for him to try to hit you. When he does, do a Parry Attack to defeat him.

All Cars : ( in arcade and custom modes )

Extra Money - Infinite Money in Career Mode :
There is no code for this that will consistently work on a stock PS2, however, there are some other ways to make some easy cash:

Probably the easiest way to gain some extra cash is to start a pink slip race, of any kind. As soon as you select the pink slip race remove your memory card. Hit OK to go to the race, you'll see a message telling you a memory card was not found and auto-save will be disabled - so go ahead and race. If you win put your memory card back in, then go to the Extras section of the Career screen and enable auto-save. Repeat as needed, selling the cars you win for extra loot.

If you happen to lose the pink slip race, go back to the title screen and put your memory card back in, so whatever you had before the race will be re-loaded.

Kid Buu:
Defeat Kid Buu as Goku in Dragon Universe mode.

Kid Goku:
As Goku in Dragon Universe mode, at the beginning look for someplace that reads "Grandpa Gohan's house". After you go to it and Goku talks to his grandpa, you will unlock Kid Goku

Omega Shenron:

Saibaman:
Defeat Nappa in Dragon Arena when he broken is in. Note: Your level must be between 10 to 20.

Defeat Majin Buu in Dragon Universe mode as Vegeta.

When fighting Kid Buu, use the Spirit Bomb technique when not a Super Saiyan as the finishing blow.

See More About:videogame soundtracksskateskate 2EA has released the Skate It and Skate 2 Soundtracks, and they are oddly more eclectic than one would imagine. Of course pop-punk and a few real punk songs are on the list, but Black Sabbath and ELO? It's very nice to see that they recognize that not only do skaters enjoy diverse music, but a lot of the folks who enjoy playing skating videogames may not have touched a skateboard in twenty years (if ever).

Skate 2 and Skate It look to bring the realism back from the original Skate, but perhaps with a bit more fun. The 52 featured songs really are from some of music's most influential and celebrated artists. It's an excellent songlist, and only EA could pull something like this together.

"The soundtracks for Skate It and Skate 2 builds upon last year’s critically acclaimed Skate soundtrack," said Chris Parry, Associate Producer of the games. "The songs reflect the culture of skateboarding, with some tracks picked by the pros themselves, and others coming straight out of iconic skate videos. Skateboarding today is an eclectic mix of people and influences and this is true of where we took this year’s soundtracks. Look for some old school soul and funk, a few rock anthems, some good beats and a lot of classic punk!"

"Skateboarding culture is like no other culture in the world and with that comes a unique sound of its own," said Steve Schnur, worldwide executive of music and marketing for EA. "Our goal was to create two soundtracks that bring together classic acts and explosive new bands while fearlessly crossing all genres. This soundtrack is truly a tribute to the skate lifestyle, where legendary tracks by The Clash, Judas Priest and WAR can stand alongside cult legends like Dayton Sidewinders and The Specials as well as groundbreaking new acts like Awesome Snakes and Money Your Love."

It's part puzzle game, part rhythm game, and all gorgeous gaming goodness. Even non-gamers like Lumines... now that's saying something.

Two different downloads will be available, a free South Central Map Expansion pack and a South Central Premium Upgrade.

The free South Central Map Expansion will expand Midnight Club: Los Angeles by one full third, adding four new neighborhoods and expanding the play options in the new South Central region.

The South Central Premium Upgrade is an entirely new experience fore Midnight Club. South Central will serve up nine new vehicles, 26 new races, 12 new battle maps, 10 new delivery missions, over 100 new red light races, new vinyl packs, new parts, new music and a bunch of other surprises. Not too shabby for $9.99.

Fortunately, the free South Central Map Expansion was designed to ensure that every racer with either Xbox 360 or PLAYSTATION 3 copies of the game can race online against players that have the South Central Premium Upgrade.
